No loosening! A connection method resistant to vibration and water flow loads
Products with a common structure secured by screws and sealed with O-rings suffer from loosening due to vibration, leading to leaks. Our products, utilizing the expanded flared tube method, reinforce against tensile stress generated by water flow while preventing loosening caused by vibration.
Issue
In the common connection method of screw joints + O-rings, loosening and leakage can occur, primarily due to the vibration of pump trucks.
Feature
We adopted a completely different connection method: the “Expansion-Process Flare Expansion Method.” Since it is not a threaded connection, it is highly resistant to vibration. Furthermore, because it does not use O-rings, it prevents issues caused by rubber deterioration.
The Developer's Vision
The base and tip of the fire nozzle, as well as the joint with the fitting, utilize an expansion-type design. Before adopting this expansion-type design, attaching a spray nozzle to the head of the nozzle and closing it could cause the tip to fly off or result in leaks from the fitting due to pump vibration, causing inconvenience to our customers. We have now resolved these issues. We will continue striving to provide safe and reliable products.
