Multi-functional thrust ring ensuring swift operation

A firefighting competition where victory is decided in seconds. Demanding speed and precision, we designed and developed our hose with a focus on ease of lifting, featuring a smaller roll diameter. This design also reduces the risk of couplings slipping out of the hose during transport due to shaking.

Issue

I want to minimize the winding diameter as much as possible.
The shape of the wound hose gets distorted due to shaking during transport.

Feature

By redesigning the outer diameter shape of the thrust ring, we have successfully reduced the hose winding diameter compared to conventional products.
Furthermore, the push wheel bites into the wound hose, preventing the coupling from slipping out.
The shape allows for easy one-handed adjustment of the thrust ring position, making it simple to change the bite location according to preference.

The Developer's Vision

This product was developed with a focus on the question: “How can we prevent double-coiled hoses from collapsing during transport when carried on the shoulder?”
It features a barrel-shaped push wheel and separate raised and recessed sections on the flat surface, designed to prevent collapse during transport.
We hope it contributes to swift and reliable hose transport during firefighting competitions.
